Saint-Hubrecht-Hern

Sint-Huibrechts-Hern is a village in the Belgian province of Limburg, and a district of the municipality of Hoeselt. It was an independent municipality until it was added to the municipality of Hoeselt during the merger in 1977.
Sint-Huibrechts-Hern is located south of Hoeselt and west of the road from Bilzen to Tongeren. It is an agricultural village in Haspengouw, mainly focused on fruit cultivation, that gradually developed into a residential village. The hamlet of Vrijhern, which was ceded to Riksingen in 1977, also belongs to the district of Sint-Huibrechts-Hern. However, Vrijhern remained part of the parish of Riksingen in ecclesiastical terms.
