The Den Bunt nature reserve is located in a corner formed by the Scheldt and the Durme. The 18-hectare Driegoten domain forest stretches from the foot of the Scheldt dike, between the De Pillecyn monument and the hamlet of Driegoten. Born and raised in Hamme, writer Filip De Pillecyn was inspired by his native region in his novels 'The Ferryman and the Lady' and 'People Behind'.
