De Zaat (dialect for 'shipyard') is the former Boelwerf site, an area of 87 hectares that has been redeveloped as a residential and SME zone. The former administrative complex of Boelwerf has been beautifully restored and now houses the municipal services. A new marina has also been established at De Zaat. The club house is accessible to everyone as a tavern. The rooftop terrace offers you a spectacular view of the Scheldt and Temse.
