After the First World War, tour winner Odiel Defraeye established a cycling track in Rumbeke. In the 1960s, Albert and Patrick Sercu renovated the track. Ultimately, cycling enthusiast and construction promoter Marc Demeulenaere ensured a final renovation in 2011. It remains an important attraction for young cycling talents, cycling enthusiasts, race organizers, and tourists.
You can only visit the cycling track in a group. Would you prefer something a bit more sporty? Try a track baptism and follow in the footsteps of the Flandrians.
From November 1 to March 1, the cycling track is closed due to winter rest.
