The Poaching Forest

Description

The poaching forest extends over the municipalities of Sint-Gillis-Waas and Stekene. The forest, with a variety of deciduous and coniferous wood, adds value to this mountain bike route. In this remnant of the so-called Koningsforeest in which the counts of Flanders used to hunt, we also find remains of the Line, which was built in 1701 as a result of the War of Succession.
