Moorsele Castle is a castle in the municipality of Wevelgem, West Flanders, located at Sint-Maartensplein 14.
Between 1418 and 1423, a new castle was built on the site of an older castle. This was commissioned by Guidolph Van der Gracht, chamberlain of Philip the Good. The castle was the seat of the lordships of Moorsele and Ter Gracht, which formed a unity from 1323 onwards through the marriage of Beatrijs, lady of Moorsele, with Diederik van der Gracht. After Guidolph, the property passed to Wouter III Van der Gracht. He died childless, after which the property passed to Philip van Liedekerke. Then it came to the Basta, de Beer and de Lens families. In 1803 it was sold to Baut, then P.J. De Clerck and then to François Cornillie, then to the Lowie family, then De Geest and then R. Theys.
