The brewery was founded in April 2008 by homebrewer Luc Vermeersch, together with Etienne Van Poucke and Paul Vanneste. The three founders first took a brewing course at brewery Alvinne. In February 2011, the brewery's capacity was expanded with larger brewing kettles. The brewery has a kettle with a capacity of 62.5 hl, a mash filter tun with a capacity of 80 hl, a cooled fermentation tank with a volume of 50 hl, and a lager tank of 60 hl. The first beer they brought to market was Femme Fatale.
