In 2012, four brewing friends decided to enter the Brouwland Beer Competition with their delicious tripel. From a selection of over 90 beers, their Bryggja was chosen by a professional jury as the best hobby beer in Belgium. At the end of 2014, the decision was made to fully commit and start their own brewery. Brewery Bryggja only works with Belgian hops and is therefore allowed to use the official logo. Their beer is an artisanal product; they use no extracts, no flavor or foam enhancers. A visit with tasting is possible by contacting them by phone.
