[WW II, 1946]
Lucien Meyer was a co-poet of the resistance group National Royal Movement. When the rumor spread that the VNV would seize power in Aarschot, the NKB displayed a naive show of force on the second Easter day of 1941. This would cost them dearly. On September 13, 1941, Meyer was arrested and tortured. He died on March 26, 1944, in Essen as a result of an air raid.
