The goods station from 1906 was built as a result of an initiative by Leopold II and is a stately structure consisting of brick, natural stone, steel and glass. Above the entrance, the Roman god of trade Mercury is watching. At its peak in the 1960s, it employed 3,000 people. When the last logistic activities were discontinued in 2000, a reallocation was considered. Music festival Couleur Café settled there and real estate company Extensa, which is the new owner, decided to restore the building and use it to organise fairs, parties, festivals and offices.
