The magnificent entrance door of the building serves as a reminder that this was once a postal relay. It was established in 1789 by Antoine Gillard. The coachmen who spent the night at the inn took the opportunity to change their teams. After being famous for its local cuisine for two centuries, the site has recently been converted into guest rooms.
It acquired its current appearance in the 19th century when the timber framing disappeared behind a layer of plaster.
