The Sint-Jacobuskerk, dedicated to Jacobus de Meerdere, is the parish church of the Antwerp town of Borsbeek, located on the Jozef Reusenslei.Borsbeek was dependent on the parish of Deurne until 1264 and then became an independent parish. From 1185 the patronage right was in the possession of the Abbey of Ename and in 1318 this right was sold to the St. Michael's Abbey in Antwerp. In the 15th century the church was rebuilt: the choir in 1485 and a tower in 1524.
