This imposing and sturdy 19th century sandstone house was intended for all administrative services.

The coats of arms of the city are displayed in front of the town hall. Some of them date back to 1407.
"Silver snapdragons with forked tail and 3 pieces of pickled azure."

During the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944 , 90% of the city was destroyed . 114 residents lost their lives. Because of this tragic event, the city of La Roche was officially recognized as the "City of Martyrs" and received the "War Cross of 1940" found on the city's coat of arms.

In 1951, the 1940 war cross with palm trees was attached to the facade of the town hall.
