The history of this brewery begins with a love story. Gregory Verhelst, a young student of biochemistry, met his wife in Louvain-la-Neuve. With a degree in brewing and malting, he followed her to her birthplace in the Gaume, where he started a brewery in 2000. He bought old equipment and experimented with malt and hops. The Rulles Brune, Blonde, and Triple are three strong beers with no added herbs or colorings. Meanwhile, the range has expanded, and it is exported to GH Luxembourg, Italy, France. All beers feature a funny label with an illustration by Marcel Le Rullot, a friendly Gaumois. The brewery can be visited by appointment. You can buy the artisan beers in the shop.
