All sports distances leave Roeselare via Oostnieuwkerke towards Westrozebeke. You cycle to the rural, rolling landscape of central West Flanders towards the ‘Keuneleute’ and ‘Stadenberg’. Via Houthulst and Merken you reach the ‘Ieperleekanaal’.

You cycle upstream through the ‘IJzerbroeken’. At the ‘Knokkebrug’ you follow the ‘IJzer’ towards ‘Fintele’, where the Lovaart joins the IJzer
. From Fintele we briefly follow the cycle path along the IJzer towards the ‘Eversambos’ in Stavele.

Via low-traffic roads you reach the lovely village of ‘Stavele’. From Stavele you cycle through ‘De Moeren’, the lowest point in Belgium. Annually, De Moeren provides a lot of cycling spectacle during the cycling classic ‘Gent – Wevelgem’. The open plain and the wind are the ideal ingredients to give the race the necessary tension.

Through this region you discover the agricultural area, mills, and old farms. You pass through ‘charming villages’ with atmospheric village squares like Izenberge, Gijverinkhove, Leisele, and Houtem where the terraces are more than inviting, and now and then you flirt with the ‘schreve’, the border with neighboring country France.

You cycle along the back of the ‘Lovie’ through the ‘Sixtus forests’ to the connection point with the 100km, at the height of the ‘Sint-Sixtus Abbey’ of Westvleteren.
At the height of ‘Steentraete’ you reconnect with the base loop. You follow the Ieperleekanaal upstream along the picturesque locks until you reach ‘Boezinge’.

Along rural roads you cycle through fields and pastures towards the center of ‘Passendale’. Starting from Passendale, you cycle in a straight line to the finish at ‘KOERS’ in Roeselare.
