The nature reserve Heiliges Meer – Heupen is a nature reserve in the Tecklenburger Land region in the north of North Rhine-Westphalia. The largest lake in the area, the Große Heilige Meer, gives the reserve its name.
The nature reserve is predominantly located in the Recker district of Obersteinbeck, with the rest lying in the municipality of Hopsten. To the south of the Heideweiher, it borders directly on Ibbenbüren territory. The area is bisected by the country road 504 between the Große Heilige Meer and Erdfallsee. Close to both lakes along this road is the Biological Station Heiliges Meer, which is a branch of the LWL Museum of Natural History.
