Ruhlsdorf is a district of the municipality of Marienwerder in the Barnim district of Brandenburg, with about 500 inhabitants. It is located west of Eberswalde and about 45 kilometers north of central Berlin. Nearby runs the Oder-Havel Canal with the Ruhlsdorf Lock.
In the Stone Age, there was a settlement site in the district of the present-day location. The earliest mention as Ruleuesdorpe dates from 1315, and from 1375, there is a mention of a pastor.
