The Breitenhagen ferry is a ferry service on the Elbe between the towns of Tochheim in Zerbst/Anhalt on the east bank and Alt Tochheim in Barby on the west side. The owner is the city of Barby. The ferry is a non-motorized yaw rope ferry, so it is powered by the current of the river. The ferry is operated daily. The ferry can be used by pedestrians, horseback riders, cyclists, cars, trucks, buses and agricultural commercial vehicles. The prices for a crossing in 2018 ranged from 50 cents for a child to 11 euros for a semi-trailer.
