Ringstien - The short route

The path is a shorter route that, for part of its length, runs parallel to the Udsigtsstien.

It starts at the Sunset Square and passes the Fishing Street Stone, the Sea View, and along the coast, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and beach. From here, the route continues south through a protected meadow out into the dune landscape, where from Hirtshals Lighthouse, it runs parallel to the Ring Path. At a resting bench by the dunes, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the beach, sea, and the bay towards Rubjerg Knude. Afterwards, the route takes a footpath east to the central point at Skovkrydset in Nejst plantation - a peaceful piece of forest with wildlife and plenty of birdsong where you can enjoy the quiet tranquility of the forest from the bench at Skovkrydset. In the next section of the path, it follows the route of the shorter path in the northern direction. Here, you pass Hirtshals Sports Center and continue along a bicycle/pedestrian path to the Main Road at Hans Jensens Allé. The route will then proceed on the sidewalk through two of the town's charming older residential neighborhoods, along Rønne Allé, Mikkelsgade, and Skippergade, after which you will have returned to the Sunset Square.
