The Río Castro is an approximately 25-kilometer-long right tributary of the Río Tera in the Spanish province of Zamora.
The source of the Río Castro is located in the southern Montes de León in the northwest of the province of Zamora, within the municipality of Requejo de Sanabria. After heavy rainfalls, the origin of the river can shift up to two kilometers to the northwest. The Río Castro flows in an easterly direction and discharges into the Río Tera near Puebla de Sanabria after only about 25 kilometers. The river has no significant tributaries and is not dammed.
