This square is located on the border between the San Lorenzo and San Vicente districts and has a number of ceramic works related to different religions.
The square is also a place for memorials of famous people such as the bullfighter Joselito el Gallo. On the square you will also find the San Lorenzo church and La basílica del Gran Poder, this is the meeting place for the brotherhood Jesús del Gran Poder. In Seville there are many different brotherhoods that hold a procession during Semana Santa. The San Lorenzo church was built in the 13th century and the square has had this name ever since.
