An orientalist residence of Mozarabic inspiration which contains three salons with decor inspired by the Orient. Its appearance of a small Cairo mosque was the wish of the painter and archaeologist Charles Cournault (1815-1904), a pupil of Delacroix who travelled to Algeria around 1840. The garden is characteristic of the ornamental gardens of 19th century bourgeois residences. Enjoying a rich and varied landscape heritage, it is criss-crossed by several alleys in the style of picturesque gardens.
Park freely open to the public.
