The site offers a beautiful panoramic view over the Lot valley. It is from the various educational materials and iconographic representations that you will discover this fabulous history of the truffle.
The truffle school of Montpezat-d'Agenais offers visitors a discovery trail around a small plot of truffle plants at the foot of the mill site. The site, equipped with didactic panels, allows visitors to discover this product whose culinary nobility is well established. The identity of the truffle is halfway between the plant and animal world; the truffle discovery trail is particularly interesting. Visitors will have to be in turn geologist, climatologist, biologist, historian and finally truffle grower.
