The Uhabia beach is located south of the center of Bidart, near the beach of the Center. Located between typical Basque houses and a hill, the Uhabia beach is crossed by the river of the same name. It is a wide sandy beach, the largest in the town, but also the most accessible.
It has the Handiplage label and is supervised from mid-June to the end of October.
Dogs are not allowed during the surveillance period.
It is possible to go there by bike by the Vélodyssée, on foot or by bike by the new Voie Verte which goes along the Uhabia river and serves many campsites, or by bus from the stops "Plage" or "Uhabia".
The beach also has 2 large parking lots (paying from June 15 to September 15): one on the rue des Tamaris and a second on the avenue d'Espagne.
