The Transversales association, set up in 1996, is committed to a policy of supporting artists and building tools (approaches, projects) to bring creation, artistic practices and culture closer to local residents. With the help of numerous partners and the determination to build a real local cultural public service involved in creation, in Verdun as well as in the rural regions of central and northern Meuse, Transversales puts on a multi-disciplinary season (circus, theater, classical and world music), organizes workshops for amateur practitioners and creates a cultural network enabling the implementation of tours in rural regions.
