This lion worked in concrete marked the entrance to the German main first aid post (PSP): KONIGSTEIN. It was built from October 1917 to June 1918 by the 635th Saxon Royal Saxon Health Company as indicated by an inscription on its base. The entrance of the tunnels dug in the chalk coast, partly casemating the hospital, can still be clearly seen. It was a real town which had taken place on the outskirts of the village of Sugny. A total of 6,002 soldiers will pass through this PSP.
