Small town on the banks of the Aisne, with several shops and services Dominated by a steep rock on which can be seen the ruins of a fortified castle, the church of Saint-Thibault (from the outside only) and the Maison Forte Wignacourt (from the outside only) In 1777, through descent and marriage, the principality of Château-Porcien passed into the House of Monaco. The memory of this alliance with the Grimaldi family lives on, as H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco inherited the now honorary title of Prince of Château-Porcien
