Description

The Stichting Museum Buurtspoorweg (founded in 1967) maintains a museum rail connection with steam locomotives and other historic train equipment over a route of approx. 10 km between Haaksbergen and Boekelo. The station building from 1884 was also restored and the entire yard has been restored to the atmosphere of the turn of the century. Characteristic are the turntables, water tower, workshop, locomotive shed and the signal box (from 1867).
