Description

Since autumn 2006, the Selexyz bookstore is based in the ancient Dominican church in Maastricht. Two hundred years ago the church lost its religious function. In the past, it functioned as a snake house, a bicycle store and a carnival party place. The architects Merkx + Girod designed the interior the Selexyz bookshop. The design won the 2007 prize Lensvelt for interior architecture, the most prestigious prize in this area in the Netherlands.
