Description

Vorden (Low Saxon: Vodden) is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located about 10 km southeast of Zutphen and has over 7500 inhabitants (including the outlying areas)[1]. The core itself has about 5100 inhabitants. [2] Vorden is bisected by the road from Zutphen to Ruurlo (N319) and by the Baakse beek (locally also called Vorden beek), which flows to the IJssel. Vorden is located on the Zutphen - Winterswijk railway line, which opened in 1878 and has a station.
