Since 2012, De Heidebrouwerij has been located in the man's kitchen on the former Maurits-Noord barracks site in Ede. The former kitchen is converted into a brewery with tasting room.
The basis chosen is the brewing and promotion of home-brewed beer. Each beer will have a regional character, either by processing traditional regional products such as heather honey from the Ginkelse and Edese heath or by using, for example, barley and/or hops grown in the region.
De Heidebrouwerij makes special beers for special activities and/or occasions. The Veluws Heide beer bears the quality mark of SPN Nederland and can therefore call itself a Recognized Regional Product. This ensures that you have a real and honest regional product in your hands.
