This estate took on its current form in the 17th century. It was inhabited by noble and wealthy burgher families from Maastricht. After the establishment of a park in landscaped English style, it was owned for a time by the famous Regout family from Maastricht. The park covers a total area of 18.5 hectares and was restored to its original style in 1994. The garden is a protected nature reserve and part of the adjacent Kelmonderbos. The house is not accessible, but can be seen from the opened park.
