Since the mid-19th century, a dome has been here to offer hikers a resting point, overlooking the village of Bennekom. We can no longer enjoy the latter because the view has completely disappeared due to the vegetation. Moreover, in 2004 it was not only restored but also moved about 50 meters.
Descendants of the then owner, Albertus van Daalen, donated the dome to the TOURIST OFFICE in 1929. It must have been a popular place because it appears on several old postcards.
