Depuis le milieu du 19e siècle, un belvédère est ici pour offrir un point de repos aux promeneurs, avec vue sur le village de Bennekom. Nous ne pouvons plus profiter de cette dernière, car la vue a complètement disparu à cause de la végétation. De plus, en 2004, il a non seulement été restauré mais aussi déplacé d'environ 50 mètres.
Les descendants du propriétaire de l'époque, Albertus van Daalen, ont offert le belvédère à l'office de tourisme en 1929. Cela devait être un endroit apprécié, car il apparaît sur différentes anciennes cartes postales.
