The sluice in Disk.
A peat barge that ran from the peat bogs to the export port sometimes had a large gradient. Without artifice, the canal would be deflated. As a result, canals were not full of water all year round. In order to have sufficient water at the time of peat transport, an ingenious system of locks, weirs and water reservoirs was set up. And here was such a sluice.
