From the Noorderkade we have a view of the moody port of Blokzijl. Many pleasure boats moor here, and larger tour boats also regularly visit Blokzijl as a stopover. There is always something going on on the quay in the center. In the museum het Gildenhuys in the Kerkstraat a film is shown about the history of Blokzijl. The film shows a walk through the city where images from past and present alternate, a separate but fun approach.
