The De Onderneming windmill is a flour-producing post mill, built in 1850, presumably by millwright Van der Meer from Harlingen. The mill was sold in a dilapidated condition by the last owner to the municipality of Wonseradeel at the end of the 1960s. The municipality had the mill restored in 1970-1971. The dilapidated house next to the mill was demolished in 1973 and rebuilt in 1982. The mill is now in full use again. Various types of grain, including Red Turkey Wheat, are milled here. The current "Madam the Miller" processes the flour into delicious bread and other products. Every Friday and Saturday morning, you can buy her products here. Just remember to order in advance on the website: www.mevrouwdemolenaar.nl.
