El anfitrión Karel y sus padres Annie y Willy abrieron este local en 2007 con un único propósito: servir a sus invitados una cocina artesanal y honesta, o como dice el patrón: “¡aquí no hay ‘ge-Knorr’ en la cocina!” La cocina artesanal flamenca es el centro. Aquí todo se prepara con ingredientes de máxima frescura, caldo casero y hierbas de su propio jardín. Porciones generosas de steak, côte à l’os, parrilladas y pescado del día siempre se acompañan de salsas recién preparadas, patatas fritas crujientes y verduras frescas. Por las tardes, hay crepes recién horneadas y helado casero. También eres bienvenido durante todo el día para tomar un trago.
