A la entrada del pueblo de Botassart, conocido por la famosa visión de la tumba del gigante, se encuentra un monumento de piedra blanca con una estatua de la Virgen María en la que está escrito en un halo: "Yo soy la Inmaculada Concepción".
Este monumento mariano fue erigido alrededor de 1935 : los habitantes del pueblo tomaron las grandes piedras blancas de sus campos para erigir este monumento. La estatua de la Virgen María fue reemplazada en la década de 1990 después de que la anterior fuera destruida por una tormenta.
