A l'entrée du village de Botassart, connu pour sa célèbre vue sur le tombeau du géant, se dresse un monument en pierre blanche avec une statue de la Vierge Marie sur laquelle est écrit dans une auréole : « Je suis l'Immaculée Conception ».
Ce monument marial a été érigé vers 1935 : les villageois ont emporté les grosses pierres blanches de leurs champs pour ériger ce monument. La statue de la Vierge Marie a été remplacée dans les années 1990 après la destruction de la précédente par une tempête.
