El castillo de Hundshaupten es una fortaleza de cuatro alas en Hundshaupten, un barrio de Egloffstein en el distrito de Forchheim.
Por primera vez, el castillo fue mencionado en 1369 en posesión de los señores de Wiesenthau. Fue construido, como casi todos los castillos de la Suiza Francona, sobre un espolón montañoso que se adelanta al valle de la meseta de Jura. Tras las destrucciones en los años 1388 en la guerra de ciudades por parte de los nuremberguenses, en 1412 por el burgrave Federico VI de Nuremberg y en 1525 durante la guerra de los campesinos, el castillo fue reconstruido en 1561.
