Le château de Hundshaupten est un château quadrangulaire situé dans le village de Hundshaupten, dans la commune d’Egloffstein, dans le comté allemand de Forchheim.
Le château est enregistré pour la première fois en 1369 dans la propriété des seigneurs de Wiesenthau. Il a été, comme presque tous les châteaux de la Suisse franconienne, construit sur un éperon du plateau jurassien franconien qui s’avance dans la vallée. Après sa destruction en 1388 par Nuremberg lors de la guerre des Villes, en 1412 par le burgrave Frédéric VI de Nuremberg et en 1525 lors de la guerre des paysans, elle est reconstruite en 1561.
