Il castello di Hundshaupten è un complesso fortificato a quattro ali a Hundshaupten, una frazione di Egloffstein nel distretto di Forchheim.
La fortezza viene menzionata per la prima volta nel 1369 tra i possedimenti dei signori di Wiesenthau. Fu costruita, come quasi tutti i castelli della Svizzera Francone, su un promontorio che si protende nella valle dell'altopiano della Jura. Dopo le distruzioni degli anni 1388 durante la guerra delle città per mano dei Nuremberghesi, nel 1412 da parte del burgravio Federico VI di Norimberga e nel 1525 durante la guerra contadina, il castello fu ricostruito nel 1561.
