Het kasteel Hundshaupten is een vier vleugelige burcht in Hundshaupten, een deelgemeente van Egloffstein in de Landkreis Forchheim.
Voor het eerst werd de burcht in 1369 vermeld als eigendom van de heren van Wiesenthau. Het werd, net als bijna alle kastelen in de Fränkische Schweiz, gebouwd op een in het dal uitstekende bergspoor van het Jura-hoogland. Na de verwoestingen in 1388 tijdens de stedenoorlog door de Norenberger, in 1412 door burggraaf Friedrich VI van Nurenberg en in 1525 tijdens de boerenoorlog, werd het kasteel in 1561 opnieuw opgebouwd.
