Las calles y plazas de Wissembourg muestran casi todas casas con entramado de madera pintorescas de épocas pasadas. Es hermoso el Quartier du Bruch, desde donde tiene la mejor vista desde el puente sobre el Lauter. También es hermosa la iglesia gótica de St.-Pierre-et-St.-Paul del siglo XIII, un antiguo monasterio con bellas vidrieras y la iglesia de St.-Jean del siglo XV con un campanario románico. Es agradable pasear a lo largo de las orillas del río Lauter, por los viejos baluartes ajardinados y por las estrechas calles antiguas.
