Les maisons de drapiers n° 1-3 ont probablement été construites en 1744 pour la famille Grand Ry d'après les plans de l'architecte aixois Johann Joseph Couven. Aujourd'hui, la maison appartient entièrement à la famille Signon.
Le pignon voûté contient encore un relief représentant la déesse de la fortune Fortuna avec des symboles commerciaux.
Il ne reste que peu de chose de la riche décoration intérieure, à l'exception de l'escalier latéral, l'escalier à balustres du XVIIIe siècle. Dans l'angle droit se trouve un passage carrossable avec un portail.
