De lakenmakershuizen nr. 1-3 werden waarschijnlijk in 1744 gebouwd voor de familie Grand Ry volgens plannen van de Akense architect Johann Joseph Couven. Tegenwoordig behoort het huis volledig toe aan de familie Signon.
In de booggevel bevindt zich nog steeds een reliëf dat de godin van het geluk Fortuna voorstelt met handelssymbolen.
Van de rijke interieurdecoratie is weinig over, behalve het trappenhuis aan de zijkant, de 18e-eeuwse balustertrap. In de rechterhoek is een rijtuigpassage met een portaal.
