L'église de style gothique se tient au milieu du village. Le clocher culmine solennellement dans les airs, on pourrait croire l'édifice de 1889 intouchable. Et pourtant 35 obus ont touché les environs proches en novembre 1944, créant des dégâts considérables. À peine 4 ans plus tard, le bâtiment qui tenait au cœur des habitants fut réhabilité. Elle fut la première église reconstruite après la guerre du diocèse.
