Église la plus moderne de Verdun.

Réalisée entre 1963 et 1965 d'après les plans de l'architecte Jean-Louis Fayeton, l’église Sainte-Jeanne-d’Arc à Verdun représente l'aboutissement de la construction de la Cité Verte, un quartier de logements collectifs édifié entre 1957 et 1962. Pour ce projet d'une grande expressivité plastique et constructive, Jean-Louis Fayeton a utilisé des formes audacieuses rendues possibles par l'utilisation généralisée du béton armé, laissé à l'état brut de décoffrage.
