La bibliothèque d’Auch a été officiellement créée en 1791. Installée dans l’ancienne chapelle des Carmélites du XVIIème siècle, son fonds ancien est riche de plus de 21 000 manuscrits et incunables.
C’est également un lieu d’expositions et de rencontre avec des auteurs, et où vous pouvez assister à des conférences, formations, spectacles... Sans oublier la musicothèque qui possède une large sélection d'albums de jazz et de classique.
Le jeudi matin, de 8h30 à 12h30 et hors vacances scolaires, retrouvez le bilio-bus au marché, quai Lissagaray.
